3" Lens Plate

Another high quality lens plate from Acratech -- this one precisely the length needed to support both the base of my mirrorless camera and the adaptor to a Leica S lens.

I think it's overpriced, but I'd pay double before knowingly buy something made in China. This is a good piece of gear and it precisely fits both of my Acratech heads.

This plate was exactly what I needed for my Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens. It fits perfectly and compliments my Acratech GP ball head. My advice to anyone who has purchased any of the Acratech ball head products is this: buy the corresponding Acratech camera or lens plate for your equipment from Acratech also. Don't go cheap after spending your hard earned cash on one of their ball head products. Save yourself the grief of buying a cheaper plate from another company only to find that it doesn't hold your equipment securely.

I've only used the plates a couple times so far. They work well with the Canon 100-400 and 400 mm lenses. I like using them with the GP Ballhead, especially the gimbal option. Much better than my older tripod heads. Great product.

I got the plate for the new 100-400L Canon lens. I use it on my ballheads and Gimbal type attachments for my camera and lens.

Perfect. As expected from the good folks at Acratech. Exceptionally well made, fits perfectly and is milled from high grade material. Prefer Acratech over the other two companies that make similar products. Acratech customer service is outstanding. They recently helped me with an older product that I had troubles with and I am now loyal to them for all future purchases for tripod heads and plates.
