Great for 8x10
While I have a large ball head, the leveling head works very well for 8x10 since I switch from horizontal and vertical at the camera back rather than tipping the camera sideways. This is light, strong and low profile. I like the design because it stays cleaner than others and I can easily use it on other platforms. I wish I knew about Acratech earlier, I had one of their smaller heads and was also impressed. At least RRS Kirk quality without the complexity and hard sell, a real made in USA small business, and instead of copying everybody, some smart engineering. Fit and finish is excellent too. Thanks!
