    The very best Leica M plate

    It is the best because when it is mounted on your Leica M, your Leica will sit upright even with a 50mm lens mounted. The other shorter plates cause your camera to tilt over forwards.

    Excellent tripod mount for film Leica bodies

    Excellent quality - the machining is perfect and anodizing spot on. Extremely close fit and very precise. Although the item is listed as fitting M3-M6, but both M3 and M7 tested for fit and work fine. Extremely lightweight and the clamping area with the arca-swiss mount is well defined and solid with nice clean edges. Very low vertical profile which doesn't detract from the M-body lines.
