Tripods Allowed: Yes
Time of Day to Shoot: Any time, but like with all places harsh mid-day light is difficult.
Opens/Closes: Open always
How to get there: Drive to Mt Baldy and go past the village for about a mile or so and on the right hand side of the road, there should be a sign that says Ice House Canyon and a couple of large parking lots, go to the far end of the parking lots and the hiking trail starts there. There are a couple of old concrete foundations near the trail start.
Description:
Excellent place for photographing lots of small 12" or so waterfalls. The Spring is the best time and in the winter there can be lots of snow. Hike along the trail for about 5-10 minutes and then hike down to the stream and follow it up.
Misc notes:Hazards: As with all Southern California mountain locations, at certain times of the year, Rattlesnakes can be on and around the trails.
