Acratech is a small family run manufacturing facility located in Glendora, California (about 15 miles East of Pasadena, along the foothills). At Acratech we manufacture all of the parts on all of our products here in our Glendora facility. Many of Acratech's employees are not only skilled machinists and craftsman but also skilled photographers.
Milling
We utilize state of the art C.N.C. milling machines allowing us to provide our customers with unsurpassed quality, affordable prices, and quick turn around times. We can handle a wide variety of sizes and shapes of parts. Our maximum length of a single cut in a set-up is 30" long x 16" wide x 16" tall. Although the actual part size can be larger than the listed lengths of cuts.
Turning
To produce your parts as efficiently as possible, we use a variety of C.N.C. Turning options from a high speed gang tool machine to a 10" chuck- 3" through hole Mori Seki, to a bar fed Okuma Howa. Having a variety of options allows us to use the optimum machine for your job, reducing set-up costs and turn-around time.
Calibration
All inspection / testing equipment is calibrated to standards set fort by the National Bureau of Standards. Standards used in the calibration process are certified at established intervals by and approved laboratory.
Materials and Certifications
All materials are inspected upon arrival, to insure the proper material, in the proper quality has been received. Material certification documents are required from the source by Acratech Inc., in order for job production to begin. When requested a copy of the material certification documents will be sent to the customer. along with the completed parts.
Quality
All work is inspected in our fully equipped Quality Control department and conforms with MIL-I-45208A standards. Quality which exceeds our customer's requirements is our priority at Acratech Inc. Our Quality Control Department is equipped with: optical comparators, surface plates, dial bore gages, pin gages, height gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection equipment.
CAD/Cam
At Acratech Inc. We utilize sophisticated CAD/CAM systems to insure accuracy and to provide our customers with the best possible product in the shortest " turn-around" time. Customers may E-mail Acratech drawings generated from CAD systems; from these drawings it is possible for us to directly produce tool paths for both milling and turning. This process further reduces set-up time and costs.
